All walks are FREE and no registration is required! Come when you can and no worries when you can’t!
If a hike needs to be canceled due to weather, etc. we will post an update the day before on our Facebook and Instagram pages, as well as update this information on our website.
Tot Hill Trailhead is our regular meeting location unless otherwise posted! We sometimes do Field Trip Hikes to new locations!

“Wild Walks With Littles” meets the first, third, and fourth Friday mornings of each month!
Group nature walks for families with children of all ages! This is an excellent opportunity for you and your child/children to get a chance to explore and connect with nature together, to socialize, to play, and to create everlasting memories experiencing the trails with you in a welcoming community setting! 2024 Dates: “Wild Walks With Littles” Meet at 10:00 AM on the 1st and 3rd Fridays monthly. Default meeting location is the Tot Hill Trailhead unless otherwise posted. Meet at 10:30 AM on the 4th Friday monthly behind Archdale Public Library.
January 5 and January 19

March 1 and March 15** ** March 15th walk will be 2 miles, instead of the usual 1 mile, and will be held at Caraway Creek Preserve at 689 Jerico Rd, Asheboro, NC 27205

NOVEMBER 15 is a Field Trip Hike at Caraway Creek Preserve! Meet at 10:00 AM at Address: 689 Jerico Rd, Asheboro, NC 27205 Hike will be up to 2.5 miles and we will visit the Historic Check Dam!

Expected walk duration will be approximately 1 hr to 1.5 hrs maximum and we will cover approximately 1 to 1.5 miles. The primary focus of these events is on the TIME spent together in nature with our children, not the distance covered. Nature walk begins at 10:00 AM and group photo at 10:00 AM. Meet at 10:30 AM on the 4th Friday we meet each month. We meet at 10:00 AM on the 1st and 3rd Friday monthly.
Please bring your own snacks and water and have a way to carry any supplies you may need for your family.
We respectfully ask no dogs please during "Wild Walks With Littles" in consideration of our littles who may be afraid of dogs! Dogs on leashes are welcome to join group runs on Saturdays or any of our other events!
